Contacts

Bland County Busted Mugshots is a private reference resource, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, authorize a release, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those questions to the official office that holds the record.

Official Bland County Contacts

Use the office whose role matches the record or status question. The Sheriff is the county law-enforcement agency, NRVRJ is the relevant regional jail for current custody, and the county FOIA office explains the county request process.

Match the Question to the Record

Current custody, a booking record, a court case, and a state-prison record have different official sources. Start with the narrowest accurate path and retain the date of any official result.

  • For current regional custody, use the NRVRJ Inmate Lookup. It is a regional system, so confirm the booking or arresting agency before calling a result a Bland County matter.
  • For a Bland Sheriff record or routine adult initial-intake photograph, ask the Sheriff records custodian about the existing record. A jail-held booking file may need NRVRJ records routing instead.
  • For a later case status or disposition, use Virginia Online Case Information and the appropriate court clerk. A booking allegation does not establish a court outcome.
  • For a person sentenced to state custody or under state supervision, use the VADOC inmate and supervisee locator, not the regional booking search.
  • For federal custody or immigration detention, the official BOP inmate locator and ICE detainee locator have their own limited scopes.
  • For an official wanted-person source, the Sheriff's Most Wanted page explains the statewide sources and the limits of a local warrant check.
